I created a Steam Store Page for "Go Deep Or Go Home". My primary goal is to grow the wish lists for Steam. Recent Changes
Here's a list of some of the changes I've made to the game since my last update.
- Character Creation Scene (Redesign)
- New scenic background
- Improved UI
- XBOX Controller Support & Help Hints
- Gender slider added to Character Creator Menu
- Inventory System Updates
- Escape key closes all inventories (if open) otherwise brings up the Settings Menu.
- Added white glow outline to all icon shapes.
- Automatically stack items when transferring between Backpack, Chest, Stash, and Store.
- Refactored code making it easier for me to show and hide different inventory systems.
- Church in World Scene has been edited
- Closed off the large openings on the left and right sides
- Added new carpets
- Added a cross on the back wall
- Shortened the pews
- Game Environment Updates
- Wall Traps are now also triggered by enemies.
- Pendulums & Blades now properly cause hurting impact sound when hitting enemies.
- Breakables now play a unique sound effect to notify players when loot drops.
- Broken Pottery now appears more broken, like something you wouldn't want to pick up and place in your backpack.
- User Interface Updates
- Confirmation Dialogue Popup when exiting dungeons. (asks if you're sure you want to leave, before exiting dungeons)
- Show button bindings when Mouse/Keyboard is being used (this feature is no longer just for XBOX)
- Fixed a problem with the Music and Sound volume in the Splash Loading Scene.

Upcoming Changes
Here's a list of the next batch of changes I hope to complete for the next update.
- Ability to fill in the text field using XBOX Controller when naming your character.
- Quest Reward Dialogue should lead the player to the next available quest.
- When completing a quest, the NPC should "cheer" (not dance).
- I may decrease the size of the World Scene to deliver a more focused demo environment.
- Players will be able to pickup, buy, sell and equip Chainmail, Ringmail and Scalemail armor.
- Ability to set the quantity when buying or selling from Merchants. (currently the game expects you to split your items into stacks, which is not the intended behavior, this will be fixed soon)
- Merchant Recipes: When visiting merchants who sell Potions, Scrolls and Food, they provide options for turning in collections of supplies in exchange for valuable goods at a reduced cost. (for example; collect 100 candles and pay 10 silver for a stack of 10 fire scrolls)
- NPCs and Wildlife will wander around the world. This may include townfolk, horse-drawn carriages on roads, grazing horses and cows, pigs in troughs, chickens in coops, birds in the sky, fish in the water, and so on.
- A variety of chest styles, for different dungeon environments or for particular scenarios, such as exit room chests, which might contain more silver than normal chests, quest chests, which always contain the quest's collectible items, magical chests, which contain only potions and scrolls, armor or weapon chests, and so on.
- Slain enemies will drop loot. There will be a weighted table of possible loot for each enemy to create rarity in enemy loot drops.
- Camera Shakes for things like Brute's Stomp Attack, Player's impact when falling down a well, Mash Smash & Mass Death, and any gigantic enemy's footstep when player is within proximity.
- Improved Hairstyles for all human characters (including player)
