ALMIGHTY GAMES NEW TO ITCH.IO

Today I decided to try something new. Well, new for me anyway... And that is... I wanted to try posting some of my work on itch.io. In the past year, I have started to notice itch.io more than ever before. It seems like Steam is moving towards extinction lately while other alternative websites are rising in notice-ability, itch.io being on that rising list.

I recently launched "Giant Blobs From Mars" on Steam and was a bit thrown back by the lack of exposure that the game received from Steam's supposed 'visibility rounds'. It honestly felt like Steam dropped the ball entirely and just forgot to mention my game at all. The truth is, the game market is extremely over-saturated, and any game launched in 2021 will likely suffer the same fate. That is... unless the developer has a  huge fan base or can reach out to a massive audience through advertising or marketing.

Anyway, I thought about it, and decided to make my latest game available on itch.io using the "Pay what you want" model. The game retails for $2 on Steam but what the game needs more than anything right now is... exposure!

If you download the game, and enjoy it, donations are always welcome... After all, it takes a lot of time to build a game, and I'll never get any better at it unless I can somehow justify the time I spend making more games in the future.  Here's a couple of other ways you can help show support...
